Upgrade questions
Will I lose my web address or my email?
No. You keep both. We only change the two settings that point your web address to your new site. Your email settings aren’t touched.
I don’t remember where my web address is registered. Is that a problem?
It’s very common, and we’ll help. We can look up which company holds it, and they can help you get back into your account. If that turns into a dead end, or you’d just like a fresh start, our New Web Address + Email add-on ($99) sets you up with a new address and a business inbox.
Do you need my passwords?
No. Most companies let you invite us to help without sharing a password. Otherwise we walk you through it on a short call while you click.
Will my site go down during the switch?
No. Your old site keeps running until the new one is ready, and the switch itself usually takes effect within a few hours.
What about my Google ranking?
We point your old page links to the matching parts of your new site, so search results and saved links keep working.
I use online booking, ordering or a store. Can I keep it?
Yes. We add a clear button that links to the service you already use, at no extra charge. We don’t move the store or booking system itself.
What if my email comes from my old website company?
We’ll spot that before anything changes and move your email first, so nothing is lost. There’s a one-time $99 charge for that, and we’ll tell you before you pay.
